Casual, Regular, Expert, and the Simple Results Card

Two sources use different difficulty words, and they should stay separate until the game shows they are the same button.

What the game page says

Trout Land's description says Casual to learn and Expert to suffer. It does not mention Regular or Simple, and it does not define a contract.

What one entry screen says

On the walkthrough chapter Tin Can Tex, about 17:43, the entry screen shows three rows:

Row Text on that screen
Casual Free retries. Earns the contract on Regular!
Regular The real fight, earns the contract in full
Expert Locked, with Beat it on Regular to unlock

On that encounter, a Casual clear is described as practice that points you at Regular for the contract. Expert is not available until Regular is beaten. This is one encounter's panel. Check the next stage instead of assuming the sentences are global.

What results cards say

No-hit clips of the clock boss, the tea room, Wobbles, the cloud, the barnyard, and the balloon boss all print SKILL LEVEL SIMPLE on the results card. They also show an HP bonus based on 5 health when no hits land. The word Simple does not appear in the official description. It may be the in-fight name of the learning difficulty, or a separate setting from Casual. The checked material does not decide.

What to do with that

  • If you want the contract described on the Tin Can Tex screen, clear Regular on that encounter. Casual's own text says the contract is earned on Regular.
  • If you are copying a no-hit video, match Simple, because that is the skill level printed on those cards. A Regular or Expert attempt is not shown in those clips.
  • Do not treat a full HP bar during the fight as the same thing as the end card. The card is the confirmation.

There is no published damage multiplier, parry window, or retry difference beyond the sentences above.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Inkhead?

Inkhead is a Roblox PvE shooter by the group Trout Land. You play an ink jar with a pea shooter, parry pink attacks, and fight cartoon bosses toward the Clock King. It is inspired by Cuphead and is a separate game.

Is Inkhead the same game as Cuphead?

No. Cuphead is a different game. Inkhead has its own bosses, stages, wardrobe, and codes. Cuphead patterns and boss names do not transfer.

How do you parry?

The official description says to parry anything pink. In The Belfry, pink ghosts are parried by jumping and jumping again as you touch them. Black spiky ghosts are dodged and cannot be parried. Follow your device's button prompts outside that keyboard panel.

Does Inkhead have codes?

The game page says codes are redeemed in MENU, then CODES, and that codes are shared in the developer's Discord. Listings through October 25, 2026 report 3Mvisits for 100 Ink and 2 Revives. Enter it only after the tutorial, with that exact capitalization.

Can you play with friends?

Yes. The official description supports solo or co-op, and the experience allows 20-player servers. Footage shows two or three players in some fights. It does not show whether boss health changes when a friend joins.

Why do guides disagree about World 2 and World 3?

The Roblox badges only say World 1 Cleared, World 2 Cleared, and World 3 Cleared. Video makers then attach different boss ranges to those numbers. Match the boss on your screen instead of the number.

Is Mugman a playable character?

No Mugman item, price, or ability has been confirmed. The file-select card says INKY & QUILL, and the wardrobe frame shows a head named QUILL BOTTLE. A video title that says Mugman is the uploader's description of the run.
